Overview

Grace is a compassionate and ethically grounded Counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT). With five years of experience across schools, private, and charitable settings, Grace delivers tailored interventions designed to help her clients thrive as their authentic selves. Grace is experienced in working with a wide range of clients and specialises in providing therapeutic support for children and young people. She is dedicated to creating safe, non-judgemental spaces where individuals feel empowered to explore their thoughts and feelings according to their own agenda. Grace operates under the belief that everyone possesses the ability to overcome life's challenges, often requiring only the right conditions to identify the path forward. Her practice is focused on providing immediate tools for the 'here and now' whilst exploring the root causes and developmental origins of a client's concerns. Grace utilises an integrative approach to therapy, ensuring that every session is adapted to the unique needs of the person. By maintaining a diverse "toolbox" of theoretical frameworks, she works collaboratively with clients to determine which methods best support their goals: Person-Centred: This principal model fosters a space of total acceptance, allowing clients to speak freely and lead their own process of change. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Grace provides structured, evidence- based support to examine how thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected specifically addressing anxiety, depression, OCD, phobias and other mental health needs. Psychodynamic: This approach allows for reflection on how past experiences and developmental roots may be unconsciously impacting choices in the present. Existential: Grace explores themes of choice, responsibility, and belonging to helpclients identify what is truly important to them. Grace is a Registered Level 2 Member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). She is committed to a practice that is culturally sensitive and respectful of the diverse backgrounds that shape an individual's identity. Please note: Grace is not registered with Medicare and therefore you do not need a mental health plan from your doctor to see her. With a grounded and person centred approach, Grace provides a secure environment for healing and personal transformation. She is here to help clients navigate life's challenges and work toward a fulfilling, authentic future.
