Miss Alyssa Jenkins Physiotherapist

clinic location

Overview

Hi, I’m Alyssa. I was born and raised in Cairns and grew up with a strong sporting background, including tennis, hockey, and jazz ballet. I graduated from James Cook University in Townsville in 2012 and have been a proud member of the NewDirection Care team since 2018. My professional background spans geriatric rehabilitation and community-based physiotherapy, with a particular focus on pain management and neurological rehabilitation. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep passion for helping and inspiring others to reach their full potential—whether that’s clients, colleagues, family, or friends. I’ve always believed that behind every great achievement is a supportive coach, and I strive to embody that philosophy in my work every day. With over a decade of experience, I take a holistic and individualised approach to care. I am committed to ensuring that each individual I work with receives tailored support that aligns with their unique goals, abilities, and values. Empowering people to live their best life is not just my job—it’s my purpose.
