Qualifications Dr Charles Chan graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of New South Wales in 2005. He trained in psychiatry at Concord Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and completed psychiatry specialist training through the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatry (RANZCP) in 2014. He also graduated with a Master of Psychiatry. He has also completed the advanced certificate of Forensic Psychiatry through the RANZCP. Working experience Dr Charles Chan has over ten years of experience working in psychiatry. He has previously worked as a consultant psychiatrist in the public sector as a staff specialist psychiatrist with the NSW Justice Health. He has also worked extensively as a VMO Psychiatrist at St John of God Richmond Hospital and St John of God Burwood Hospital since 2014. Dr Chan has also worked as a Consultant Research Psychiatrist at Brain and Mind Research Institute focusing in mood and sleep disorder.
