Overview

Melissa is a speech pathologist who is passionate about supporting children to develop their language, speech, and communication skills. She enjoys working closely with children and their families to create supportive, encouraging therapy experiences that build confidence and connection. Melissa uses a neurodiversity-affirming approach, recognising and valuing each child’s unique way of communicating. She focuses on understanding the whole child and tailoring therapy to their strengths, interests, and needs, while creating sessions that are playful, meaningful, and motivating. Melissa has a special interest in language development, speech development, and literacy intervention, and enjoys helping children build strong foundations for communication and learning. In her downtime, Melissa enjoys getting creative and partaking in crafty activities, spending quality time with friends and family, staying active at the gym, and winding down by watching movies.
