My name is Melissa (she/her) and I make it my main priority to provide a safe inclusive space to help you work towards your personal and family goals. I have significant experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I can work with you to address the challenges you are facing related to anxiety, depression, parenting, life transitions, burnout, personal development, trauma, and loss. My practice is based on a strengths-based, anti-oppressive approach and is geared towards providing you the space and time you need to share your story as you experience it. I have been practicing as a registered social worker for ten years and take pride in being relatable and empathetic in my support of others.
I am a proud ally of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. I practice LGBTQ-affirmative therapy in a queer-positive and inclusive space. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that mental and emotional well-being are integral to overall health, and that therapy can be a powerful tool for achieving this balance.
