Meena is an empathetic and considerate psychologist who strives to provide a safe, warm, and supportive therapeutic space where clients can express themselves freely, feel understood, and gain deeper insight into their psychological health. She works collaboratively with her clients to help them lead empowered and fulfilling lives.
Meena works with clients across the lifespan, supporting challenges such as anxiety, depression, phobias, emotional regulation, behavioural concerns, adjustment difficulties, and stress related to family, school, or work. She has a special interest in supporting children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, learning difficulties, and intellectual disabilities.
Her therapeutic approach combines Neurodiverse Affirming Practice and Strength-Based Therapy to celebrate and empower individual differences, while drawing on evidence-based interventions. She also incorporates mindfulness-based approaches, psychoeducation, and play-informed therapy when working with children and adolescents.
As an Australian-born Indian and third-culture individual, Meena understands the challenges of navigating multiple cultural identities. She is deeply passionate about providing culturally informed, inclusive care where clients from diverse backgrounds feel safe, represented, and respected. She adopts a holistic and individualised approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of her clients.
