Max may be a good fit for you if...
You're looking for a psychologist who is compassionate, thoughtful and interested in understanding your individual story.
For couples, Max may be a particularly good fit if you've started to feel more like housemates than partners, communication has become difficult, the same arguments keep happening without resolution, or you've begun feeling disconnected.
You may be trying to rebuild your relationship following infidelity, struggling to manage conflict, or feeling uncertain about whether to stay together or separate.
Max's Approach
Max believes every person has a unique story and that developing a genuine therapeutic relationship is an important part of understanding that story. He explores the connection between past experiences and present thoughts, emotions, behavioural patterns and core beliefs.
Max draws upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches and Gestalt Therapy.
Couples & Relationship Therapy
Max holds Level 1 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and works with couples experiencing communication breakdown, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, apathy and infidelity.
