Maverick is a registered psychologist who takes a compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to therapy. He has a special interest in sport and high-performance settings.
Maverick has experience supporting athletes and coaches with performance anxiety, attentional control, goal setting, leadership, adjustment to injury, and mental performance routines.
Beyond sport, he works with clients experiencing stress, interpersonal difficulties, lifestyle transitions, anxiety, and depression. He also assists with health behaviours, including exercise, nutrition, and sleep.
Drawing on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Maverick provides practical, evidence-based strategies to enhance performance and wellbeing, whether on the field, at work, or in everyday life.
