Through my training in Counselling Psychology, an important focus of my work is building a trusting and secure bond with clients. I am passionate about a client-centered approach to counselling, and tailor therapy to best meet the unique needs of the individual. With this aim, I deliver a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Emotion-focused therapy and Strength based approaches.
I have experience working in a number of settings, including private practice, community, forensic, and education sectors. I have worked primarily with adolescents and adults with varied presentations, including mood and anxiety issues, relationship concerns, trauma issues, stress and burnout, personality difficulties, alcohol and other drug use, emotional regulation and adjustment issues.
