Maddison is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and holds a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology. Maddison is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and is registered with Medicare to provide services under Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative.
Maddison's approach is client-centred with a focus on evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). . Maddison appreciates that each person has a unique set of circumstances and works collaboratively with clients to achieve positive outcomes.
Maddison enjoys working with adolescents and young adults. She has experience working with a range of presentations across the lifespan including behavioural/social difficulties, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, low self-esteem, interpersonal difficulties, work stress, parenting difficulties, depression and anxiety disorders.
