The Early Parenting & Infant Mental Health Consultant (EPC) provides support and education to parents during pregnancy, in the immediate period following birth, right through the primary school years. They provide services both in-home and at the Centre. The Early Parenting Consultant’s areas of expertise include maternal and paternal emotional support in transition to parenting, breastfeeding counselling, bottle feeding and infant formula advice, oral tie assessments, parent-infant attachment relationships, empirical health & development assessments of infants and young children, settling & sleep, toddler behaviour guidance, pre-schooler behaviour strategy, childhood emotional wellbeing, childhood nutrition & approaches to fussy eating, paediatric gut health & overall wellbeing.
