Louise Hadfield Counsellor

clinic location

Overview

I am a qualified counsellor specialising in parent and family support, trauma recovery, and neuro-affirming care for families navigating complexity. I work primarily with parents of neurodiverse children, blended families, and those navigating separation — supporting them to understand the repeating emotional patterns that shape their parenting responses. Using a trauma-informed and narrative-based approach, I help parents recognise their “parenting patterns” — the triggers, reactions, and generational echoes that can quietly drive behaviour — and expand them into more conscious, regulated responses. My work integrates structured counselling frameworks with practical tools and reflective storytelling, creating a grounded space for clarity, growth, and meaningful change.
