Ms Tami Shaw

Psychologist

I love working with families during the perinatal period. I can support new parents during pregnancy, new parents during the baby years, as well as parents of older children. I have two girls myself and know the challenges and joys of parenthood. I have many years of experience working in public mental health with adults, kids and families. I am an experienced trauma therapist and can support women experiencing birth trauma. I had a challenging birth experience myself with a breech baby, preeclampsia and a stay in special care. We had feeding challenges and then my daughter went into a pavlik harness. Getting through those challenges gave me a passion for supporting young families to flourish even in challenging circumstances.
