Angela is an authentic and compassionate Psychologist who is passionate about all things mental health, parenting and wellbeing.
Angela has worked for many years in a public mental health setting, private practice and more recently as a School Psychologist. As a Mum of two young girls, she strongly believes in the importance of offering a judgment free, warm and compassionate space for people to come and get support in dealing with the changes and challenges that are part of the perinatal period.
Since becoming a mother herself, Angela developed a keen interest in supporting individuals who are embarking on their parenting journey; whether they are planning to become parents, already pregnant, transitioning to new parenthood or further expanding their family. Angela is passionate about providing sensitive support to those who have experienced fertility challenges, pregnancy or infant loss. Angela has experienced both the joys and challenges of the perinatal period and feels privileged to walk beside and empower others throughout this significant journey.
Angela has training in perinatal mental health as well as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Schema Therapy.
