David is founding Director and registered Psychologist with endorsements to practice in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. He has 30 years experience in Private Practice. David has specialised training in adult psychotherapy, relationship therapy, executive mentoring and coaching. David also provides Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Psychotherapy for mental health issues. David has served as an Honorary Associate and Field Supervisor on the Counselling Masters and Doctorate Psychology program at Macquarie University. He has also served as Adjunct Fellow and a field supervisor for the University of Western Sydney Clinical Psychology Masters programme.

Mrs Kirsty Fulton-Boote

Kirsty is a registered psychologist who works with adolescents (15+) and adults. She is currently working towards endorsement in clinical psychology, and has experience working in hospital, forensic, and private practice settings. Kirsty's areas of interest include depression, anxiety, stress, adjustment issues, anger management, addiction, and trauma. Kirsty is a warm, compassionate, and empathetic psychologist. She provides a safe therapeutic space and respects each persons individual life journey. She aims to help individuals identify their own strengths and resources, and understand how these may be used to work through and overcome difficulties. Kirsty believes in working collaboratively with clients and places emphasis on achieving sustainable wellbeing outcomes. Kirsty tailors her approach to each client, and uses evidence based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. Ms Cheryl Assuage

Psychotherapist

Director and Psychotherapist with specialised training in developmental psychology, self-psychology, the conversational model and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR - Trained by Jon Kabat Zinn). She is a highly experienced Psychotherapist and relationship counsellor. She also brings a wealth of knowledge to both parenting and step parenting issues. She is the author of the Couplet Program and has served on several boards including in relation to drug and alcohol treatment programs.

Ms Judith Lehmann

Psychologist

Judith is a registered psychologist with a specialisation in Organisational Psychology. She has been practicing psychology for the past 15 years and has gained extensive experience working in clinical and corporate settings. Having worked with a diverse range of issues and clients Judith has developed skills in a broad range of therapeutic approaches helping individuals and couples with psychological issues affecting both their professional and personal life. Outside of LifeConnect Judith also gained invaluable corporate experience working with numerous large organisations. This allows her to bring a depth of knowledge to the practice, in particular to career-related counselling and therapy for issues such as work stress and anxiety and work-life balance. Judith is a warm and compassionate therapist, with a keen genuine interest in and concern for her clients, and a fine sensitivity to their needs. Her specific areas o interest (despite the field of organisational psychology) lie with understanding and working with attachment and relational issues. She is currently completing her training in the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy.

Ms Lonneke van der Laan

Lonneke is a Registered Psychologist who works with adults. She has experience in working in private practice and within a hospital setting. Lonneke’s areas of interest include anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, relationships, and grief/loss. She has a special interest in adjustment issues. Having moved between continents herself, Lonneke understands the challenges individuals face when going through major life changes. Lonneke is emphatic, compassionate, and open minded and she provides a safe, reflective, and collaborative therapy space free from judgement. Through short and long-term therapy Lonneke wishes to enable her clients to gain insight and understanding in their concerns, with the aim to empower growth and an increase in overall well-being. Lonneke’s therapeutic approach is tailored to her clients’ needs and she uses evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness.
