Lavinia is a registered psychologist with over 15 years experience working in hospitals, community mental health, university and forensic settings. She works with adults who experience anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, addiction, other mental health issues or life difficulties in general. She is also a registered supervisor providing training for psychology students.
Lavinia utilises a variety of evidence-based interventions and understands that these need to be adapted to suit individuals' needs. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Psychodynamic therapy approach, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy.
Lavinia has a warm, genuine and collaborative approach. She feels grateful to be part of peoples' journey and endeavours to assist them identify issues that are blocking them from achieving their potential. She works collaboratively with clients to develop ways to address these difficulties.
