Lauren Haskins is the practice director for A Growing Understanding Speech Pathology. A Growing Understanding offers a high level of individualised and professional speech pathology services for children and their families. A Growing Understanding is able to provide speech pathology assessment and therapy to children with speech sound difficulties; language disorders; autism spectrum disorders; voice disorders and voice control; stuttering; swallowing and feeding difficulties; learning difficulties and learning disabilities. As a point of difference, A Growing Understanding was established with a focus to provide parents, carers and educators with the skills to be able to grow children’s communication skills. Centre-based appointments are available at our easily accessible centre in Gateshead. A Growing Understanding services the Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Port Stephens and Hunter areas with home and school appointments also.
