Laura Williams Psychologist

is a registered psychologist with extensive counselling experience, working with individual adults and teenagers. Laura is committed to assisting her clients and is passionate about working with them in a collaborative and flexible manner. Laura has extensive experience working with clients across genders, ethnic groups, ages and clinical presentations. Laura has worked with clients experiencing a wide variety of mental health issues, medical conditions and neurological impairment. She has assisted many clients to work through and resolve personal conflicts, adjustment issues and relationship concerns. Laura’s counselling style is based upon evidence based treatments, including cognitive behaviour therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapy. With Laura's assistance, her clients have have successfully overcome their difficulties and achieved their personal goals. Laura is able to assist her clients to address their concerns through either short- or long-term counselling. Laura is passionate about enabling her clients to identify their values, set themselves goals, and work in a collaborative and flexible manner to achieve them.
