Kristy is a warm and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist who works with young children from 2 years of age, children, adolescents and young adults up to 25.
She has a particular interest in child development and extensive experience supporting children and families experiencing behavioural difficulties, emotional regulation challenges and childhood mental health concerns. She also supports older children and young adults with anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, stress, trauma, panic, social anxiety, sleep difficulties, grief and self-esteem.

You're looking for a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist who is warm and empathetic and understands the different emotional and developmental needs of children and young people.
For parents of younger children, you may be concerned about big emotions, behaviour, anxiety, development or changes in wellbeing. Older children and teenagers may be experiencing anxiety, fears, obsessive thoughts, perfectionism, social anxiety, stress, sleep difficulties or grief.
Kristy's Approach
Kristy understands that attending therapy can sometimes feel confronting. She approaches her work with warmth and empathy and tailors therapy to each person's developmental stage, individual presentation and goals.
She primarily draws upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy.
Supporting Young Children & Families
Kristy has a particular interest in working with young children and their families, including children from 2 years of age. With very young children, she works closely with parents and caregivers to understand development, emotions, behaviour and individual needs.

Kristy provides clinical supervision to psychologists within Willow Tree Psychology and Wellbeing.
