Kristie is an experienced Clinical Psychologist working predominantly with mid life women in the peri/menopause space, anxiety, trauma, ADHD and work and relationships . I use a range of therapies including EMDR. Neurofeedback is a biofeedback tool to assist at a brain based level to provide optimum function. It can have lasting effects on regulating the nervous system and many other health and wellbeing benefits. Neurofeedback can be accessed by renting a system to train in the comfort of your own home. MY BACKGROUND Kristie successfully owned and operated a group psychology practice in Nundah Village from 2006-2022, and more recently has focused her attention to mid life women. She is a Clinical Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor helping Psychlogists with their training. Kristie’s approach to client care is to do “whatever works” for the client tailoring an individual plan for their counselling process. This may include a specific therapy or a combination of approaches and techniques. By integrating past and with present experiences, the client gains insight and better awareness allowing for growth and change. This approach promotes greater sense of self identity, contentment, and well-being. Kristie has substantial experience working with clients who have had adverse life events or trauma, and special interest in anxiety disorders, relationship issues, work related issues, and optimal performance. Kristie works across the spectrum from worries and stress, complex mental health presentations to optimal performance and well-being. Kristie has special interest in working with mid life women and the challenges the perimenopausal/menopausal period brings, Having lived experience herself Kristie works with women to identify their strengths, their desires and needs, and assist them with the challenges of this inevitable stage of life.
