What is Physiotherapy? It is a healthcare profession which helps restore, maintain and maximize physical function and movement. It focuses on the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and movement dysfunctions. Physiotherapy plays a crucial role in sport by preventing injuries, enhancing performance, facilitating safe return to sport, and optimizing movement through a deep understanding of biomechanics, movement pattern, and load management.
As a physiotherapist, I strive to dive into the root cause of your condition, while tailoring a holistic treatment approach to meet your needs and goals. In each physiotherapy session, I combine hands-on treatment techniques (including joint mobilization, soft tissue massage, and dry needling when appropriate) with targeted therapeutic exercise prescription.
Apart from being a Physiotherapist, I am also a basketball skill trainer with a rich background in competitive basketball, having played in Melbourne’s pro-am circuits such as the MBL and ABA. My knowledge in biomechanics and basketball movement allow me to coach with precision. I help athletes enhance mobility, coordination, and skill execution critical for shooting, finishing, and defending on the court.
I focus on developing body control, footwork, and coordination that transcend into real-game performance. Whether it’s refining your shooting mechanics, improving fluidity in your ball handling, or becoming a better defender, I train you to move smarter and more efficiently on the court. If you’re looking to take your basketball game to the next level through skill-focused, movement-driven training, I strive to bring the insight, experience, and intensity to elevate your development.
