Katie Trudgian Social Worker

Katie is a qualified Social Worker and certified in Narrative Therapy with over six years experience working therapeutically with individuals, families and communities across the Northern Territory. Katie’s practice is grounded in principles of kindness, safety and integrity. She draws on principles of Narrative Therapy to create a non-judgemental, compassionate space to safely explore complex experiences. Katie has experience supporting adults and children using a trauma-informed approach in the areas of sexual violence, intimate partner violence and the experience of vicarious and lived trauma. Katie is particularly passionate about supporting women, young people and their families to live rich, meaningful lives. Katie offers in-person consultations for both EAP and private referrals in Darwin.
