Overview

Kara is a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working in a range of settings including specialist perinatal counselling services, community and hospital settings (child and youth mental health, perinatal and infant mental health, adult mental health hospital, tertiary family residential service for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties), primary and high schools, university clinics, and private practice. Kara works with adults (18+), new parents, and couples, and has a special interest in the following areas: - Anxiety - Depression - Emotion regulation - Family of origin issues - Perinatal mental health (anxiety and depression during pregnancy and postpartum) - Relationships - Couples Please note that all appointments are via Telehealth (online video-call) only.

  • Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), University of New South Wales
