Kate is a clinical psychotherapist who integrates humanistic counselling, theosophical and spiritual insight with evidence-based frameworks to support meaningful, long-term change. She holds registration with ACA and PACFA. Clients can receive health fund rebates if eligible from AHM, ARGH, BUPA HCF, Medibank and through Work Cover Queensland.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking in nature, swimming at the beach or practising yoga. She is calm, insightful and growth-minded.
She values freedom, autonomy, self-responsibility, family and connection.
Her work draws on IFS-informed therapy, CBT, ACT, person-centred, and other modalities, along with Gottman-informed couples' therapy, neuroscience, mindfulness and somatic awareness practices.
In addition to her private practice work, she works within residential substance misuse and mental health organisations and as a counsellor within the criminal justice system.
She is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in neuroscience and its relationship to mental health.
