Overview

For me, the heart of therapy is building a real, human connection. I like to keep the process authentic and, at times, a little unconventional—because no two people are the same, and neither is the way we work together. I welcome people of all ages and backgrounds, and my role is to offer compassion, understanding, and steady support as we navigate whatever life is throwing your way. I believe in focusing on what’s gone right in your life—your wins, your strengths, and the moments you’ve already overcome—rather than only looking at setbacks. Every experience, whether uplifting or challenging, shapes who you are and can be a stepping stone toward who you want to become. With the right tools, genuine support, and your own determination, I believe you can face life with confidence and grow into the best version of yourself. Professionally, I’m a registered Counsellor, Psychotherapist, and Professional Supervisor with years of experience working with adolescents and adults in areas such as complex trauma and PTSD, domestic and family violence, self-harm, addictions, depression, anxiety, grief, stress, anger management, and neurodivergence. I also love helping people step into their confidence through assertiveness training. Beyond the formal titles, I’ve explored additional training in a wide range of approaches—from psychoanalytical, dialectical-behavioural, and cognitive-behavioural therapies to mindfulness-based and somatic practices. Central to my approach is being trauma-informed and person-centred, often weaving in elements of play therapy and gestalt therapy to suit each client’s unique needs. What this really means is that I have a well-stocked toolkit, so I can meet you where you are and adapt our work to what you truly need—whether that’s deep, reflective exploration or practical, solution-focused strategies. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: we’re at our best when we live in balance. That’s why I take a holistic approach—looking at the mind, body, and soul connection; how our family and early life experiences shape who we are; and how self-awareness and self-compassion can change everything. I’m also endlessly fascinated by what neuroscience is teaching us about the brain, behaviour, and healing.
