Jocelyn is a skilled and passionate practitioner with extensive experience in working with trauma, loss and mental health. She has a background in Psychology, post graduate studies in Counselling and Psychotherapy and is currently studying Relationship Counselling as she deepens her work with couples and expands her practice to include families.
Jocelyn adopts a relational and integrative approach. This means that the therapeutic relationship is at the core of the healing process and that a range of techniques are used depending on client needs. Central to her approach is a trauma-informed and attachment based lens. Her work thus melds aspects of Neuroscience, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, with Experiential, Creative, Somatic and Skills Based processes.
