Jessica is a general psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA),
and is a member of the Australia Psychological Society (APS), and Australian Association of
Psychologists (AAPi). She completed her psychology undergraduate degree and honours at
the University of Queensland, and then started with All About Kids straight after graduating.
Prior to this she was a support worker for 4 years and loved helping those with disabilities
live rich and meaningful lives. Jessica has worked with people across the lifespan, and
enjoys the diversity of the people she works with. She has experience using a range of
therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Jessica has worked with a wide
range of presenting conditions such as: anxiety disorders (social anxiety, panic disorder,
obsessive compulsive disorder, generalised anxiety disorder, and agoraphobia), depressive
and mood disorders, trauma (post traumatic stress disorder, acute stress disorder),
personality disorders (borderline personality disorder), adjustment disorders, and
neurodevelopmental disorders (autism spectrum disorder and attention-deficit hyperactivity
disorder). Jessica is an enthusiastic clinician who is passionate about helping her clients
work towards their goals. She is a big believer that while she may know a fair bit about
psychology, her clients are the true experts in themselves, and together they make a pretty
good team. She looks forward to meeting you and learning how we can work together to
achieve your therapy goals.
