Overview

Hi, I'm Jess, an occupational therapist passionate about mental health and helping clients reconnect with meaningful occupations. I take a trauma-informed, neuro-affirming approach, incorporating sensory modulation strategies to support emotional regulation, resilience, and functional capacity. I am DBT-credentialed, using these skills to help clients manage emotions, engage effectively in daily life, and achieve their goals. Mental health isn’t just about how we think or feel, it’s about how we live. As a mental health OT, I focus on the doing part of recovery, helping clients rebuild routines, manage sensory triggers, create structure, and develop coping tools that fit their lives. I bring a compassionate, client-centred approach to every interaction, advocating for mental health care and the positive impact occupational therapy can have on people’s lives.
