Overview

I am an experienced Counsellor with over 15 years’ experience supporting adults across a wide range of emotional, relational and mental health concerns. I offer a warm, grounded and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, understood and supported to make meaningful and lasting change. My approach is collaborative and tailored — I work alongside my clients to explore how their thoughts, emotions and life experiences influence their current challenges. Together, we identify patterns, strengthen insight and develop practical strategies that support improved wellbeing and resilience. I am passionate about helping people move through periods of distress, uncertainty and transition, and toward a greater sense of clarity, self-understanding and confidence in their lives. ## Areas of Support I support adults experiencing: * Anxiety and stress * Low mood and depression * Emotional overwhelm and burnout * Life transitions and adjustment issues * Relationship and interpersonal difficulties * Self-esteem and identity concerns * Grief and loss * Parenting stress * Work-related stress and life balance ## Therapeutic Approach I draw on **evidence-based counselling approaches**, adapting each session to the individual needs and goals of the client. Therapy focuses on helping clients: * Understand core beliefs and emotional patterns * Develop insight into thoughts, feelings and behaviours * Build practical coping and regulation strategies * Strengthen emotional awareness and self-compassion * Create sustainable changes that support long-term wellbeing My style is supportive, reflective and practical, offering both emotional validation and gentle challenge where helpful. --- ## Who I Work With * Adults (18+) * Individuals seeking short- or longer-term counselling * Clients attending with or without a Mental Health Care Plan --- ## Appointments & Delivery * In-person sessions * Telehealth (phone and video) * Flexible appointment options available I aim to provide a calm, professional and confidential environment where clients feel safe to explore what matters most to them. --- ## Medicare & Referrals Medicare rebates are available for eligible clients with a **valid Mental Health Care Plan** and GP referral.
