Jess may be a good fit for you if...
You're a teenager or young adult looking for a psychologist who is warm, approachable and collaborative, and who will take the time to understand you and what's important to you.
Maybe you're overthinking everything, worrying about what other people think, putting pressure on yourself to get things right, or feeling like you're never quite good enough. You might be struggling with friendships or relationships, feeling overwhelmed by school, university or work, experiencing family difficulties, or finding it hard to manage big emotions.
You may be navigating neurodivergence, trying to understand your identity or where you fit, coping with trauma, grief or significant change, or feeling uncertain about what you want your future to look like.
Jess's Approach
Jess believes that a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship is an important foundation for meaningful change. She aims to create a space where young people feel safe, respected and genuinely listened to, without feeling judged or pressured to have everything figured out.
Her primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and she also draws upon Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy to tailor therapy to each person's individual experiences, strengths and goals.
