Jen is a creative arts therapist specialising in dance and movement. She passionately believes in the power of movement to increase wellbeing and learn about the self. Only by knowing oneself can a person learn meaningful ways of interacting with others, understand their emotional responses to the world and find ways to achieve their personal goals.
Jen offers group and individual sessions, funded privately or by third parties. Jen's work follows principles of CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy and solution focused brief therapy as appropriate to the preferences and needs of the participant(s).
Jen has previous experience providing dance and movement therapy with survivors of stroke, neurodiverse children and adults as well as in aged care and an adult inpatient psychiatric ward.
Her main interests are rehabilitation and mental health, creating a space where people can feel better in both body and mind.
