Jeanne Claassen-Roux Psychologist

Jeanne is an empathetic and caring person. She works to create a collaborative, safe and non-judgmental approach to therapy and is passionate about supporting people to heal from the consequences of trauma or difficult early relationships. She is a strong advocate for early intervention. Jeanne works with children who have experienced adverse life events that continue to impact their development, as well as supporting complex mental health presentations, trauma and trauma related presentations (including PTSD), behavioural and learning difficulties, attachment, ADHD, and anxiety difficulties. Jeanne engages with children, as well as their families to build the knowledge and skills they require to support their child. Jeanne is eclectic in her approach and draws upon multiple evidence-based therapies including CBT and ACT, mindfulness, positive psychology and goal setting.
