He has extensive experience working with neurodivergent people, including those with Autism and ADHD, and enjoys helping clients better understand themselves, recognise their strengths and find strategies that work for them in everyday life. Jason supports people experiencing anxiety, stress, depression and low mood, emotional regulation difficulties, procrastination and motivation difficulties, perfectionism and people-pleasing, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, trauma, grief and sleep difficulties. For children and teenagers, Jason can support difficulties with anxiety, big emotions, behaviour, friendships and social situations, school-related challenges, self-esteem, ADHD, Autism and other aspects of neurodivergence. For young adults and adults, you might be struggling with anxiety or low mood, procrastination or motivation, feeling overwhelmed, putting pressure on yourself to get things right, finding yourself people-pleasing, experiencing relationship difficulties, or trying to better understand yourself and the patterns that keep getting in the way.Jason may also be a good fit if you're navigating questions around cultural identity, gender or sexuality. Jason's Approach Jason's approach is warm, collaborative, person-centred, trauma-informed and culturally responsive. He recognises that therapy doesn't look the same for everyone and works with each person's individual communication style, experiences, strengths and goals. He draws upon Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused ACT, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). When working with younger clients, he may also incorporate play-based approaches. Jason is also trained in LEGO-Based Therapy. Cantonese & Mandarin In addition to English, Jason is fluent in Cantonese and speaks Mandarin at a conversational level. Clients who would feel more comfortable incorporating Cantonese or Mandarin into their sessions are warmly welcomed. Adult Autism Assessments Alongside his therapeutic work, Jason provides Autism assessments for adults aged 18 and over. He brings his extensive experience working with neurodivergent people to a respectful, collaborative assessment process.
