Overview

Accredited Mental Health Social Worker & Integrative Therapist, Brisbane Trauma-Informed. Neuro-Affirming. Diversity-Friendly. Somatic & Cognitive Therapies. Hey, I’m Jasmin (she/her). I offer inclusive, collaborative counselling for adults navigating complex trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, burnout, dissociation, relationship challenges, identity, cumulative stress and significant life transitions. You might be carrying experiences from the past that still show up in your body, emotions or relationships. You might feel overwhelmed or disconnected, stuck in familiar patterns, or simply know there are parts of yourself and your experiences you’re ready to understand more deeply. I understand that trust takes time, and that feeling safe and comfortable in therapy looks different for everyone. I believe therapy can be a place to reconnect with the wisdom and resources already held within our bodies, hearts and minds. Rather than seeing myself as the person who holds all the answers, my role is to walk alongside you, bringing curiosity, compassion, practical tools and therapeutic insight to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and find your own next steps forward. My passion and skills lie in supporting individuals to find paths back to a felt sense of safety, from which to access their creativity, self-trust, deep clarity, and wholeness. Since 2010, I have supported people experiencing relational and attachment trauma, PTSD and complex PTSD, dissociation, grief and bereavement, anxiety, stress and burnout, identity and self-expression concerns, relationship dynamics, workplace stress and major periods of change and adjustment. I also have experience supporting Emergency Services personnel and their families, including people affected by cumulative exposure to high-pressure or distressing work. My work is integrative and considers the head, heart and body. Depending on your needs, sessions may draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems-informed Parts Work, somatic and nervous-system approaches, attachment and relational therapies, and other evidence-informed therapeutic approaches. Alongside individual counselling, I offer Gottman relationship therapy for couples and partners wanting support with communication, emotional connection, recurring patterns, intimacy or significant relationship transitions. All relationship types are welcome. Ways to work with me: ✨ In-Person Counselling: Paddington, Brisbane ✨ Online Counselling: Australia-wide via secure video link ✨ Nature-Based Counselling: limited availability in Brisbane and Moreton Bay For people looking for something different to traditional sit-and-talk therapy, nature-based sessions can incorporate therapeutic conversation, gentle embodied exploration, creative expression and connection with the natural environment.
