I am a clinical psychologist.
I have a strong interest in relationship psychology, in which I have extensive training, having completed the Relationships Australian Specialist Couple's course and Gottman Levels 1 and 2. Furthermore, I have worked with clients from different age groups, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, and with different presentations, such as depression, anxiety, complex trauma, borderline personality disorder, OCD and PTSD. I have a compassionate, warm and authentic interpersonal style. Accordingly, I like to work collaboratively with clients to improve their quality of life, gain new perspectives, feel heard, develop new skills and achieve therapeutic goals. To do this, I utilise evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Internal Family Systems. Overall, I practice a client-centred approach, with treatment tailored to the individual’s circumstances, needs and goals.
