PRACTICAL TOOLS AND A MIND-BODY APPROACH. I am a psychologist with experience working with young people and adults in private practice and non-profit organisations. I currently work with clients 18+ in person and online. My approach is flexible and tailored to the client’s needs and preferences. I combine practical cognitive and behavioural strategies with Focusing-Oriented Therapy, an experiential, body-based and evidence-based practice, to bring deeper self-understanding and clarity of direction. Focusing allows us to go beyond what we know cognitively and taps into the wisdom of our bodies. Thinking our way out of problems often leaves us going in circles. When we attend to how the situation feels in our bodies, we get new insights, and possibilities emerge.
