Having volunteered extensively since 2009 in several sectors and organisations, including crisis support and social assistance initiatives, I found that, to me, giving to others is basically just like breathing, a part of my nature and soul. My commitment to mental health promotion led me to focusing on mental and emotional support, and activities through organizations like Text About It, Action for Happiness, and Group of Women from Brazil based in Dublin. Currently I am completing a Masters in Person-Centered Therapy, and I believe in providing a safe, non-judgmental, and respectful space for clients to explore their needs, backgrounds, and identities. I am originally from Brazil, and I bring a unique perspective shaped by my 20-year experience in diverse corporate roles before transitioning into psychotherapy. Outside of my professional pursuits, I’m passionate about yoga, cycling, cooking, intercultural experiences, and mental health awareness. As a migrant myself, I understand the challenges of navigating life in a foreign country and being in contact with different cultural backgrounds, which helps me to bring empathy and insight to my practice. I also believe in a holistic approach to an individual’s development and growth, which leads me to integrate and connect other therapeutic approaches into my practice, such as family constellations, transactional analysis, character analysis and bioenergetics. In my work, I strive to empower individuals to embark on their own self-discovery journeys, just as I have done and continue doing myself, and to support them in finding fulfillment and growth.
