Lis is a Counselling Psychologist with over 25 years of experience. With compassion, warmth and a non-judgemental approach she works with clients to draw on their strengths and build their skills to bring about change and deepen insight. Lis enjoys working with adults of all ages across a range of life challenges including grief and loss, stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, trauma, identity, study and career concerns, health, and life transitions including peri and post-natal, early parenting and menopause. She has extensive experience and special interest working with university students and young adults.
Counselling and therapeutic approaches that inform Lis’s work include Compassion Focused Therapy, psychodynamic and narrative therapies, mindfulness as well as Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) and Cognitive Behaviour Training (CBT.)
