Hazel Tam Physiotherapist

Hazel Tam is a registered physiotherapist with qualifications from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where she completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy. Hazel is registered under both the Physiotherapists Board of Hong Kong and the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA). She is also an accredited acupuncture practitioner with the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association and a certified practitioner of Level 1 Neurokinetic Therapy. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, Hazel has expanded her expertise through various courses, including Advanced Strength and Conditioning for Physiotherapists, The Hong Kong Football Medicine Team Physiotherapist Course, and several workshops on spinal and peripheral manipulation. Hazel has previously worked with a variety of clinics, where she developed strong manual therapy skills, including joint manipulation, dry needling, and reformer therapy, to treat musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. She has also freelanced as a team physiotherapist for the Asian Youth Netball Championship 2023 and provided home-based physiotherapy services for elderly clients and those with special needs. Earlier in her career, Hazel worked at Health Integrated Medical Group’s Physiotherapy Clinic, specializing in musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. She also gained valuable experience with The Hospital Authority, treating hospitalized patients with cardiopulmonary, orthopaedic, neurological, and surgical conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Hazel's diverse experience includes providing antenatal and postnatal care classes, as well as treating paediatric patients under six years old. Now, Hazel is excited to bring her experience and skills, particularly in manual therapy and joint manipulation, to Specific Physiotherapy Preston. Hazel is available for appointments on Sunday from 10am to 5pm, Monday from 10am to 7pm, and Friday from 10am to 7pm.
