Hayley is a registered Psychologist and qualified Secondary Teacher. With over fifteen years of experience working within schools, Hayley offers a unique perspective on learning, wellbeing and what it takes to support young people.
Hayley opened The Waratah Centre in 2020, and it has grown, where she now supports a multidisciplinary team of incredible practitioners including: occupational therapists, counsellors, educational and disability support people, massage therapists, and psychologists. The Waratah Centre also teams up with our local speech pathologists and developmental paediatricians.
The Waratah Centre now services all ages to support people's personalised health and wellbeing goals.
Hayley's professional interests include Autism, ADHD, Mindfulness, and Neurodivergence. She is passionate about the inclusion of neurodivergent people and works to educate and empower the big three: schools, business and community. She offers assessment and support of a variety of mental health conditions, as well as counselling and individualised support plans. Hayley is also a skilled practitioner in co-regulation, cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance commitment therapy and uses a trauma-informed approach.
Hayley works with clients from ages 4 years through to 25 years old, and offers practical skill and support sessions for parents of neurodivergent children.
Hayley is available to schools for consultation with inclusive classroom planning, individual support plans for students, and coaching staff on inclusive practice.
