Harmeen is a registered psychologist passionate about supporting people to overcome challenges while tailoring her approach to match each individual she works with. She has a warm approach and works collaboratively to support you in achieving a meaningful outcome. Her experience spans across working in private, non for profit and public health systems including inpatient and outpatient settings.
Harmeen has worked within rural, regional and metropolitan settings and is able to value how the nuances of context can impact our emotional and mental wellbeing. She greatly values the impact of the therapeutic alliance across short and long term Therapy and encourages an approach of self-determination to support you in building confidence when making decisions within your own life. Helping with the process of finding inner potential is an area of special interest.
Harmeen draws upon various evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
