Overview
Greenmind Wellbeing and Therapy (Greenmind) is located in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. The name reflects a deep belief in the human spirit’s resilience and capacity for growth. Just as nature renews itself with fresh green shoots after the devastation of bushfires, we too have an innate ability to adapt, rebuild, and thrive after life’s challenges, losses, and painful events.
Our approach focuses on empowering you to develop effective coping strategies, make sense of life’s complexities, and build the emotional resilience to move forward. With a person-centred approach, and through a trauma-informed lens, we integrate evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Strength-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy (NT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness practices, Nature-Based therapy and psychoeducation. Where words are too difficult to be found, we love using creative approaches to complement the above.
Our special passion is supporting women navigating the complexities of a cancer diagnosis, providing a safe and compassionate space to explore and work through the emotional, physical and social challenges this can bring. We also work with grief, loss and bereavement, helping to navigate this very painful space where life can feel totally upended by the overwhelming feelings of pain and loss.
Whether you are seeking short term support or longer-term therapy, please know you are not alone. No matter where you are on your path, you are worthy of care, hope, and healing.
