She incorporates psycho-education and science-based practices to achieve comprehensive outcomes. A session with Andi may include; life coaching, CBT, ACT, skills training, assertiveness, goal-setting, compassionate or motivational interviewing, psycho-education, conditioning and graded exposure, trauma processing, grief counselling, and autonomic system arousal reduction techniques. Andi has over decade of work experience, and has worked with people of diverse backgrounds. Andi has worked in a range of settings, including government, corporate, and private practice. Andi is confident to present to a wide audience, and is an experienced facilitator and trainer. Andi completed a double degree, majoring in Psychology (Hons) and Human Resource Management, before completing Masters in Psychology at the University of Queensland. She is fully registered with AHPRA, and an active advocate of psychology along with the Australian Psychological Society (APS), College of Organisational Psychologists (COP) and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).

I am genuine in my goal for people to effectively manage their mental health and appreciate that this can sometimes be challenging. I have experience working in a range of settings and with clients from a broad demographic background. My approach to therapy is common sense and practical recognising individual differences and providing support in accordance. Bernadette is an experienced educator and psychologist. She is a registered teacher and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Bernadette has been trained in several evidence based approaches- the most recent being Cognitive Processing Therapy which treats issues related to trauma and mood disorders. Bernadette has worked in a range of education and psychology settings with clients including children, adolescents and adults. She has extensive experience working with people with disabilities, intellectual disabilities, mood disorders, adverse childhood experiences and interpersonal challenges. She has worked in a range of settings including mainstream and alternative education settings, non government organisations and private practice.
