About Galit
Dr Galit Hasen is an experienced clinical psychologist who has worked in mental health for over 15 years. She has worked across public, private and community settings.
Galit completed her clinical Masters degree at the University of Melbourne in 2007. Her PhD research (2014) explored emotion socialisation in families with anxious children, and evaluated the emotion focused parenting program, Tuning in to Kids, with anxious children.
Galit has long-standing involvement with parenting research as well as lecturing in child development.

Developing a trusting connection between therapist and client allows you to speak freely and honestly about the struggles you experience. Galit brings authenticity and warmth to her practice, providing a gentle and accepting space to make sense of the difficulties that led you to therapy. The aim is to work together to achieve better engagement and fulfillment in life.
As a clinical psychologist, Galit works from best practice, evidence-based approaches including attachment, emotion-focused and relational frameworks.
