Overview

Hi there, I’m Gabriella from Observe Psychology, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. I know the decision to begin therapy can take a lot of courage, and my goal is to help you feel supported, safe, and truly seen from the very first step. I’ve been told my approach is calm, thoughtful, and grounding—offering both a place to gently unpack what’s weighing you down and the tools to begin creating change. I work from a trauma-informed, mindfulness-based lens, integrating evidence-based therapies like CBT, DBT, and ACT to support people through a wide range of challenges—whether that’s anxiety, emotional overwhelm, addictive patterns, or self-worth struggles. Outside of private practice, I also work at a private hospital, where I support group programs including Anxiety Management, Alcohol Relapse Prevention, and the full Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program. This has given me in-depth experience with a variety of clinical presentations as well as emotional regulation, addictive behaviours, and supporting people in life transitions. Some of the areas I can support you with include: Managing anxiety and overthinking through both insight and nervous system support Breaking free from people-pleasing, perfectionism, and emotional burnout Healing through grief and loss Developing a more compassionate, resilient relationship with yourself Understanding and shifting unhelpful habits or thought patterns Supporting recovery from addiction and emotional dysregulation Fees Individual Therapy sessions (50 minutes): $250 ($153.35 after rebate) Please note I offer Medicare rebates under a Mental Health Care Plan and accept private paying clients. If you’re using a Mental Health Care Plan, please obtain a referral from your GP and email it to: gabriella@observepsychology.com.au Modalities & Approach: CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Trauma-Informed Practice Professional Associations: Registered with AHPRA
