Social Worker

In my practice, I take a trauma-informed, person-centred, and feminist-informed approach, recognising the ways that power, gender, and social structures can influence people’s experiences and wellbeing. I draw on evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) informed strategies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), strengths-based and solutions-focused approaches, attachment-informed practice, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based techniques. I tailor my approach to the unique needs of everyone, creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to explore their experiences, build on their strengths, and work towards meaningful change.
