I hold a Master of Psychology (Forensic) degree from the University of South Australia (2011) and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours in Psychology) degree from the University of Adelaide awarded in 2001. In addition, I hold a Bachelor of Social Science (Human Services) awarded in 1993, and an Associate Diploma in Applied Science (1990). Prior to 2004 when I started practice as a psychologist, I was a Family Therapist and counsellor with problem gamblers. I have worked in both the South Australian and Tasmanian State Government sector in several roles. These have included: Senior Clinician (Psychologist) with the South Australian Department for Correctional Services, Lead Clinician and Team Leader at Disability SA, Police Psychologist with the South Australian Police, and sessional lecturer in the Masters of Psychology (Forensic) program at the University of South Australia. I have been in private practice in Hobart Tasmania since 2009. Treatment of trauma experienced by personnel of Correctional Services, the Military, Police and Emergency Responders is a special focus of my work and employees are prioritized if indicated by the referring doctor or, by the client when an appointment is sought.
