Emily Varga (She/her)Psychologist

Emily is a registrered psychologist with over 14 years experience working with children, adolescents and young adults and families from diverse backgrounds. Her experience is broad and includes varying roles held in outreach, community health and private practice settings. Emily enjoys working creatively, using a strengths based, family centred approach, drawing on evidence based theory from various disciplines and psychological approaches. Emily works collaboratively with the young people she sees, helping them feel empowered to be themselves, build better friendships, relationships with parents, to manage their mental health and to enjoy valued activities including education. She values building a trusting therapeutic relationship based on openness, respect and humour.
