I am an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with almost 20 years of experience. I received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon and a Master of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I recently returned to school at the University of Cincinnati to obtain my Ph.D. focusing on language and literacy disorders in young children.
I have over 15 years of experience working with elementary and preschool aged children. I specialize in language disorders including difficulties in phonology, morphology, syntax, and vocabulary. I am passionate about remediating speech and language disorders, especially in their relation to literacy difficulties. I firmly believe that language (written and spoken) is the key to success in school and in life and am committed to ensuring that everyone has that key to success.
I am a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, Oregon Speech and Hearing Association, and the International Dyslexia Association.
