At Kids Play Physiotherapy, we support children to learn through play - its in our name! We provide evidence based assessment and therapy with a fun and creative approach. We consider parents as experts on their child and work collaboratively with parents, carers, childcare centres, schools and medical professionals to support a child to achieve their goals. We know how busy life gets with kids, so we work with you to build therapy into your daily routines. We believe that children learn best in their natural environments so we offer a mobile therapy service - in your home, childcare centre, school or community. At Kids Play Physiotherapy we: - Provide a comprehensive assessment of your child’s movement and physical development - Discuss assessment results with parents, carers and relevant people - Work collaboratively with you in developing a therapy plan that will fit into your child’s and your routines. - Continue to re-assess and monitor progress - Empower families by building their capacity to support their child’s needs in order to achieve their goals. - Provide comprehensive reports as needed Some conditions we have experience include: - Plagiocephaly and/or head preferences - Talipes - Developmental dysplasia of the hips (“Clicky hips”) - Lower limb alignment concerns, including intoeing, flat feet, knocked knees - Delayed gross motor development - Developmental Coordination Disorder - Disabilities including cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome (Trisomy 21), Autism Spectrum Disorder, genetic conditions and intellectual disabilities.
