Elizabeth Holbrook Counsellor

As a counsellor specialising in grief and loss, I have an understanding gained from lived experience. I understand the many ways grief can affect every aspect of your life. I am a compassionate, understanding, mature counsellor who works in all areas of loss. I have spent many years supporting bereaved parents and people affected by road trauma as well as volunteering as a telephone crisis supporter. I hold a Diploma in Counselling and a Post Graduate Certificate in Loss, Grief and Trauma counselling. I enjoy working face to face with my clients, but am also an accredited online therapist should this be your preference. I specialise in grief and loss working from a person centred approach. I understand the many issues associated with loss and how grief can isolate and debilitate those who are suffering. I believe in supporting the continuing bonds we hold with our loved ones and can offer you support in re engaging with life after significant loss. Sometimes life doesn't go the way we planned, we are thrown into turmoil and need some help to get us through the tough journey ahead of us.
